The Voice for Michigan’s Energy Efficiency Contractors
The Michigan Energy Efficiency Contractors Association (MEECA) is a nonprofit trade association working to strengthen Michigan’s energy efficiency industry for the benefit of our member companies.
MEECA was established in 2013 to bring the voice of contractors to Lansing. Our industry is greatly impacted by decisions made at the Michigan Legislature and Public Service Commission. So, we make sure policymakers hear the ideas and concerns of those who actually deliver energy saving products and services in the marketplace.
MEECA’s core members are contractors who directly serve electric and gas customers in all sectors— residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural. We also welcome as members other important players in Michigan’s EE industry. Non-contractor members include utility providers, program implementers, manufacturers and distributors, consultants, design consultants, project financiers, energy policy advocates, and others.
Mission
MEECA is Michigan’s leading professional association providing a comprehensive forum for energy efficiency contractors and professionals to connect with stakeholders, develop their organizations, and advocate on behalf of the energy efficiency industry.
Vision
MEECA is a provider to its membership of valuable products, services, and business opportunities. We educate, promote, and advocate for the energy efficiency industry. Our goal is to support and promote our members who work to enhance the health, comfort and safety of Michigan’s residential, commercial and industrial infrastructure.
